Top 13 of 2013

Ahh, the optional-but-somewhat-required “Top Post of the Year” Post.  I actually debated on whether to do this post or not.  I did it in 2011 when I started the blog, I did it last year because I did it the year before and this year, well, I wasn’t sure if I should or not.  I’m such a creature of habit but I found myself wondering if anyone really cares what the top posts were for the year.

Top 13 of 2013

But of course, my habitual nature won out and, obviously, I’m publishing the post.  I decided to go for it because when I started looking into the most popular posts from the year I was able to re-read what I wrote and reflect over the entire year.  I never imagined I would be a blogger but I love the fact that I am documenting my life without really even thinking about it.

So here’s how this goes: about 9 of these are really the top 9 visited posts actually posted in 2013, and then I kind of hand-picked the other four to throw in some of my favorites from this year.  It’s a combined “top 13” because, well, I didn’t want to do two lists.

Top 13 of 2013

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Hawaiian Pizza Dip

Spinach Queso

Cilantro-Lime Popcorn

Buffalo Chicken Meatballs

Stovetop Honey Mustard Chicken & Rice

Avocado-Cheddar & Sun-Dried Tomato Quesadilla

Jalapeno Popper Phyllo Cups

Coffee & Cream Oatmeal Cookies

Hot Cheesy Artichoke Dip

Spicy Mexican Chicken Pasta

Cinnamon-Sugar Cinnamon Chip Donuts

Peanut Butter Chocolate Balls

I’ve said this a few times this year but man, it’s been a wild year.  I wouldn’t change anything about this year – from the move to the job to the blog.  I loved it all and I seriously cannot wait to see what 2014 brings.  Let me just say, also, that I love each and every single one of you for visiting, reading, commenting, tweeting, etc. You all are wonderful and I am looking forward to sharing another year with you.

Cheers, friends, to a whole new year!
