Peanut Butter-Lovers Peanut Butter Cookies
I went through a M.a.j.o.r. (with a capital M) peanut butter kick in college. Eat-by-the-spoonful, eat-for-dinner, and-breakfast-and-lunch kind of kick. Peanut butter is one of those pantry staples that was always around as I grew up. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it.
In college I, of course, ate on a budget and usually ate on the go so I ate PB + celery, PB+J, PB+honey & banana, and I ate it out of the jar when I was up late studying.
Matters only got worse when I discovered Peter Pan Honey-Roasted peanut butter. I can’t even describe how much I loved this stuff. It was borderline obsessive to the point that I found myself having to avoid buying it for fear of overdoing it. And then I found myself near tears when I wasn’t able to buy it anymore. Clearly I am a bit of a mess.
So I thought Peter Pan had ceased making it and I slowly moved on and as a result, my love for peanut butter subsided somewhere along the way. Don’t get me wrong – I still love it, I just no longer LIVE on it.
Well, that was until I recently re-discovered Peter Pan Honey Roasted Peanut Butter. I could help but buy a jar and I quickly tore it open and dug in by the spoonful. And then I quickly remembered why I had to stop buying it…it’s so addictive.
And I also learned that it’s perfect for Peanut Butter Cookies! The added honey flavor can’t be beat and even better – I added some peanut butter chips and (another all-time favorite) Reece’s Pieces!

Peanut Butter-Lovers Peanut Butter Cookies
Yield: 2 dozen cookies
Total Time: 30 min
The perfect peanut butter cookie recipe for the peanut butter-lovers in your life with honey-roasted peanut butter, peanut butter chips and Reece's Pieces.
Ingredients:
1 cup creamy honey-roasted peanut butter
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 cup Reece's Pieces (I used the mini ones found in the baking aisle)
1/2 cup peanut butter chipsDirections:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line two large cookie sheets with silicon liners or parchment.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, fitted with a paddle attachment, mix the peanut butter and brown sugar for 3-4 minutes until very creamy. Add the egg and salt and mix until combined. Stir in the Reece's Pieces and peanut butter chips.
Use a small cookie scoop and place the dough onto the prepared cookie sheets. Gently flatten with the bottom of a cup. Bake for 8-9 minutes, or just until the edges begin to brown. Cool completely on the cookie sheet.
