Wednesday Ramblings | five things
1. We started packing last night. About one year ago we moved into our loft. We moved from 1,000 square feet into 1,600 square feet and thought we had more space than we knew what to do with. So can anyone tell me how we filled it up so stinking quickly? Seriously, how do two people come up with so much STUFF in only one year?
2. Truffle Bacon Popcorn. There aren’t even enough words to express how much I love this.
3. Amanda is pretty darn brilliant. See: How to add a Pinterest mouse-over button. Right? I will get to that as soon as I get all of my stuff packed in boxes.
4. This quote. I can’t get it out of my head. This usually turns out to be true!
5. Aside from my mind being on our new house, moving, boxes and finishing up my job, I’m swimming in thoughts of SEO for Food Bloggers. Tomorrow is installment two and I’m thinking that I’ll probably have to do a couple more posts than I had originally thought…you guys are interested in this stuff! So, for tomorrow, we are talking Keywords, Tags & Titles – what do you want to know?
I hear you – it is amazing how much stuff we can accumulate so quickly!!!
I have been dreaming about Heidi’s popcorn all morning. 🙂 Can’t wait for your SEO post tomorrow!
Holla! Thanks for the Pinterest Pin-it button link! You da bomb gurrrl! Xo
LOVE that pin button for photos!!! Thanks so much for sharing, Cassie!
Love that quote too, the best way to overcome fear is to face it head on!
Ah I hate packing! We thought we had SO much room and storage when we moved into our current apartment and thanks to my business it is now sort of overflowing. Guess that is a good problem but boy could we use some more space!
When you announced your move I though, “Didn’t she do this a year ago?” Hopefully Next January you won’t need to pack any boxes 🙂
And I’m excited about your upcoming SEO posts.
I just love these Wednesday posts 🙂 They make my heart smile haha!
That quote hit me in the gut. Just what I needed this week. Thank you!!! (Good luck with the move. It’s never easy but soon it will be done and then things will be good).
Love the quote, love the pin button, and can’t wait for the SEO post!!
Congrats on the new place, exciting changes for you guys 😉
Good luck with the move, Cassie! Oh and that popcorn – YES PLEASE! I could snack on that all night!
I’ve been using the pin it plugin and love it! It really is amazing how much stuff can be accumulated in a short amount of time. Good luck with the packing. It’s always good for purging things!
At some point I heard someone say that everyone should move every 2 years or so. Now that would be absolutely painful and expensive BUT it’s an awesome way to clean out all of that extra ‘stuff’ accumulated. Hope you have a safe and smooth move. It’s not far right?
Sending you good packing and moving vibes! (I love how exciting that time is…but hate all the craziness!)
So I keep meaning to ask, does the move mean you’ll get to leave your job behind and do this blogging thing full time? As much as I will miss you, it seems like things might be meant to be 😉

That is the hope! Although, I may work for a couple of years to meet people and keep building freelance opportunities. Nothing is consistent enough right not to really be able to rely on it. Keeping my fingers crossed, though!
My least favorite things are travelling across the Atlantic, going to the lady doctor and moving. Good luck with that! I hope you have loads of people to help. Maybe you can just bake cookies and other yummy things to feed the helpers while the helpers work? I’m sure they’d be okay with that deal. 🙂
