Wednesday Ramblings
This happened:
And he is happy as a clam. We brought it home (in pieces) last week. Then Paul left for a mission trip to Kentucky last Wednesday through Sunday. He got home Sunday night and you better believe that our first priority was to haul all of the pieces upstairs. Side note: do you know how heavy slate is? Oh my goodness.
We bought new felt, new cues, and other new accessories that I don’t know the proper name. And we (read: Paul) spent the last three nights putting this thing together. I know he was just ready to play. And the ear-to-ear grin on his face after the first break said so many words. I love seeing that joy on my husband’s face.
I’m living for these things:
quiet fall saturdays:
that involve breaking open this fall’s first can of pumpkin:
new #SheReadsTruth studies: (it’s Galatians, join us!)
beautiful blazing sunrises:
Quiet fall weekends are the best especially when there’s pumpkin involved. 🙂 And that sunrise picture from the car is amazing! Happy that Paul got his pool table. It looks like it’ll provide him years of fun. 🙂
I love that you guys bought a pool table. The people who owned our house before us had one and I tried to talk my husband into it, but he turned the space into a man cave instead 🙂
Love your photos, Cassie! I’m about ready to open my first can of pumpkin too :). (And yay for Galatians!)
Ok, I so want to come over and hang out and play pool and baking pumpkin stuff. And drink beer. Of course.
You are a wonderful wife 🙂 Looks like we live for the same kind of fall weekends, I love the photos.
Paul is a lucky guy cause i would not let jason have that in the house haha
Aw, I love how seeing Paul happy brings you joy. I’m ready to open up my second can of pumpkin! Looking forward to seeing what you baked~
I’ll be joining Jackie with the pumpkin baking and beer. Maybe Jackie and I can carpool 🙂
gorgeous photos! I love playing pool!
I love fall more than any other season! I love this rambling post – these are the ones where you really get a sense of who someone is!
(Still not showing my husband that you caved on a pool table…)
I am loving the quiet fall weekends, too, especially when pumpkin is involved! and congrats on the new pool table – i love seeing my husband happy about an exciting new purchase, too. it’s the little things, isn’t it? =)
I love that beautiful sunrise! And way to go on supporting the pool table. 🙂 I bet he’s a happy camper!!
My husband would request a table too if he knows about this 😉
Love quiet fall and first can of pumpkin puree!
