Wednesday Ramblings
A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I was going to Chicago for a kickoff event with Verizon Wireless and their Savvy Gourmet program, of which I’ll be a part for the remainder of the year. The trip was a complete blast. Not just for the technology, but because I got to hang out with some pretty cool people including Amanda, Katrina and Bree. These three are complete gems! Here is a roundup of photos from the weekend:
As part of the group, I received a Motorola Xyboard (which is a tablet) complete with a Verizon Wireless data package. I must say that it is quite nice situated on the counter top with a recipe pulled up on the screen. However, I think we have spent most of its hours of use in Sudoku and Word Search. Geek alert! We honestly can’t put it down, and we are looking forward to sharing our thoughts on the product!
In case you missed it earlier, I am guest posting for Laurie at Simply Scratch today. Don’t miss this White Chocolate Confetti Cookie Pie!
Don’t forget to enter our #TomatoLove Recipe Exchange and enter to win a 7-quart KitchenAid Stand Mixer!
A new #SheReadsTruth devotional starts tomorrow. Tune in tomorrow morning to www.shereadstruth.com for the info. I don’t know any details yet but I can promise it will encourage you, that God will lead you, and that you will feel the love of lots of women who are in the Word together every single day.
And one last thing: I know that a lot of my readers are on Facebook. And a lot of you are fans of Bake Your Day’s Facebook page. What you might not know is that Facebook has made some changes (not a shocker) to the way they promote pages so you might not be seeing the updates that your favorite pages are posting. To remedy that, go the the page of your favorite blogs, businesses, etc. and follow these two simple steps:
Disclosure: I am participating in the Verizon Wireless Midwest Savvy Gourmets program and have been provided with a wireless device and six months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product. Learn more by clicking here and follow along on Instagram and Twitter. #VZWSG

Argh – I wish Facebook would stop changing things! If I didn’t want to see someone in my feed I wouldn’t have “liked” them to begin with!
