Wednesday Ramblings – June in Photos

I know I say this at the end of every month, but wow, I can’t believe June is over.  It was a completely crazy month but it was topped off with an awesome trip to Chicago that I will share with you soon!

June was full of amazing food, sunshine, sprinkles, husband time, and DIY projects.  July actually has a lot to live up to!  My family celebrated the life of my Papa, he was an amazing man and is already dearly missed.

#SheReadsTruth has continued with even more amazing women committing to diving into a daily dose of God’s truth.  The encouragement, support and sharing that is going on is energizing.  I love seeing God work through online community!  And it’s never to late to get started!

And happy 4th of July, my friends!  No lake trip for us this year, darn those mid-week holidays!  I am making buffalo chicken dip (I bet you didn’t guess that!) and chocolate cookies (recipe to come!).  There will be some amazing tomato recipe action going on too, do you have your tomato recipes ready for the #TomatoLove recipe exchange?

This post was the perfect way for me to catch up on your blog, and life, as I’ve been seriously behind! I love your buffalo chicken dip, and am so sorry to hear about your Papa. It’s belated, but I’ll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Wishing you a great mid-week Fourth and a trip to the lake soon! (They are some of my favorite parts of summer!)

Your Papa (grandfather) – sounds like he was a wonderful man. So happy you are a Christian, Cassie. I didn’t know that. At least you know you will see him again. :) You had a great June from the looks of your lovely photos. I need to visit your blog often. Sorry I became MIA. Jennifer
