Wednesday Ramblings

If you’ve been following along with #SheReadsTruth, you probably know that today was day 35 of the Soul Detox plan.  If you are searching for a new Bible study or reading plan, I highly recommend checking this one out.  I used the YouVersion app on my phone and it sent me an alert each morning to complete the day’s reading.  This plan is only 35 days long and I think that anyone who has human feelings will be able to relate to, and find God speaking through this study!

I found so much encouragement in experiencing this study virtually through Instagram and Twitter with so many other women who all have one goal – to grow in the love and knowledge of Jesus.

A new study will be announced tomorrow at  I encourage you to check out the site: see who else is involved; check out the weekly truth; connect via social media; join the discussion.  Or not.  Do as much or as little as you want to connect to this group.  But whatever you do, I can promise you that you will be blessed, encouraged and filled up.

Love to you, friensd! XO

I haven’t heard of this study. My wife is always looking for new devotional guides so I am gonna forward her this so she can see if it something she would like. Thanks Cassie!

Oh! And I introduced it to one of my best friends (who’s not a blogger, but an avid blog reader)–and she’s going to join with me!

okay excuse me for the ignorant question but i would love to get involved in the next study…but i’m confused as to how it works. is it an app?

Not ignorant, Natalie!! The Soul Detox plan was from YouVersion, available online or on an app. I used the iPhone app for mine but I know it’s available online too. They will announce the next study tomorrow at and I’m not sure if it will be from YouVersion or not. I’m looking forward to it. I’ll probably tweet about it in the morning, and will most-likely post about too.

You are SO right. I have been blessed, encouraged and filled up. I am growing new friendships (YOU!). I am seeing the beauty in online relationships instead of just the ugly. I can’t wait for the next study and the new women who will participate. (and yes, it will be YouVersion).

    Love to you, friend!

Wonderful Biblical quote. When you’re having a bad day, it helps to remind yourself that God not only loves you, he treasures you.

I have just LOVED #shereadstruth. It has been so fun to find out how many of my favorite food bloggers/friends are Christians! It has really re-energized me.

So happy I read this post – I had no idea about this. Sometimes having faith can feel isolating… It’s nice to know there’s a place to go for that now. Thanks , Cassie!

Then I am so glad that I posted it. Sometimes it’s hard to post these things because I’m not sure how folks will react. But I do it anyway because it’s such a large part of my life and faith is so important to me. So glad you were happy to read it!

I definitely fell behind on this one. Moving across the country with zero internet made my daily devotional tricky, but I’ve been trying to keep up with this one behind the scenes. It’s definitely a good study!

I am sure that was difficult. Hope you get settled soon, the new study is great, I am sure you’d love it!
