Wednesday Ramblings

Are you following the February Photo a Day challenge?  I have loved it so far…some photos more challenging than others but I love having something new to think about photographing every day.  It makes me want to go back and do January’s challenge even though January is gone.  Today’s prompt is “sun” and I’m not sure how difficult this will be.  The sun didn’t show its face yesterday, so we’ll see how today goes.

Just in case, I thought this quote was fitting.  I’m so ready for spring weather.  We have had such a taste of it already and I can’t wait for more to just bask in it.  Anyone else with me?

Have you tried these?  They are like crunchy Cheeto’s except spicy and more crack-like.  I think we ate the whole bag in 16.2 seconds.  Totally makes up for TJ’s only carrying cookie butter during the holidays.

What are your plans for valentine’s Day?  Paul and I teach a class on Tuesday nights at our church so we will  gladly be spending the evening enjoying pizza and conversation with a really cool group of people.  There will probably be some sweet treats involved too. What treats are you making for the sweetest day of the year?

Now it’s just deciding what to make…there are tons of amazing valentine’s day posts floating around!  Which might be a bit easier since I have spent the last two days organizing my pin boards.  The sad part is that they aren’t even done yet.  I know,  use my time, uh, wisely.   (Not.)

I should really just be counting every beautiful thing I see in the world.

I’m loving the photo challenge 🙂 it’s fun! But we’re supposed to get a wintry mix today so it’s super cloudy and no sun. I’ll have to do some crazy impromptu sun thing for my picture today. I don’t know what we’re doing for the sweetest day of the year yet but I’ve already baked up quite a lot of things! 🙂

I’m really struggling to take a picture of the sun today as there’s not even a hint of blue sky! It’s super fun though 😀

What a beautiful saying, so true! I have my iphone ready and waiting as soon as I get a glimpse of the sun I’m going to get a shot while I can! 😉

It’s horrible that my eyes went straight for spicy and crack like right? lol They sound awesome.

I love the saying you shared…such a perfect message! And I’m very afraid of the crack you shared….oh, I couldn’t bring it into the house!!! I’m a closet Cheetos lover.

Love the quote! I think we’ll be spending Valentine’s with my in-laws since my counter won’t be here in time to cook a romantic dinner 🙁 Maybe we’ll get said in-laws to babysit instead…but I hate going out on actual Valentine’s night, too busy, and Carl’s birthday is only 4 days later so we usually combine dinner out into one 🙂

Love the quote, and wish I really could be laying in the sun! I cannot wait for warm weather. Oh…valentine’s day. I feel like there’s so much going on, the more I look at all of the lovely recipes floating around the more confused I get on what I should make. I really need to sit down for a minute and decide, everything looks so amazing though!

I’m going to TJ’s tomorrow so I need to grab one. I’ve seen it but I wasn’t sure. I can’t wait to try (a little bit…since I’m on diet and I will give the bag to my husband so I can control…).

I like today’s quote. I’m ready for spring (but not allergy). Since we’re not getting enough rain here (meaning no snow in mountains), we’re done with winter. I can’t wait to spend more time outside. Have a great weekend!

I wanted to participate in the photo a day or the photo a week challenge… it hasn’t worked so far. 🙁 But I LOVE the idea of it. Someday! I’m in the same boat as you with trying to weed through all the great Valentine’s posts to decide what to make! 🙂

I was too stressed out to join in with the picture every day thing, but I love seeing how people interpret it so differently. I hope you had a great day with the sun!
