#thanksq10 I am so thankful for my new blog design. I. Love. It.
I completely missed posting a Thanks//Squared post yesterday. I will make up for it by posting two today and mainly because I have so much to be thankful for. So many times yesterday I thought about a blessing but didn’t get a chance to snap a picture.
As you can see from the picture above (and the blog) that my design was finished up yesterday. I really, really love it! Lindsay at Purr Design is so extremely helpful and patient with my ignorance when it comes to graphic design and HTML silliness. Although I will say that I have learned a lot already. For the next while I’ll be updating all of my posts to reflect the new recipe format and the thumbnail picture.
The moon was big and bright on my way home but in the interest of safety, I chose not to snap a photo while I was driving.
I was so fortunate to get to spend the evening with my husband last night. He has been especially busy lately so evenings together are very sporadic. We shared a meal at one of my favorite places to eat in Kansas City. We laughed and enjoyed each others company and I am extremely thankful for the evening that we had.
The window is replaced in my car and I am slowly starting to rebuild my purse. It’s amazing how attached I was to my purse. A very valuable lesson was learned though. And my advice to all of my friends: make photo copies of all of the important (and non-important) things in your purse. It will make it much easier in the case that it’s lost or stolen!
I am thankful for you! YOU make this blog possible. I love it so much but it would mean so much less if you weren’t reading it. So for that, thank you. I love you all and I am so blessed by this place that I can share my life with you. I hope you are too!
One more: I’m thankful for this sweet little lady too. She somehow wiggled herself into this little cubby in my bookshelf and I found her just hanging out.
#thanksq11 I’m thankful for our sweet Emma, she can always make me smile!
Wait, one more thing: It’s National Peanut Butter Lover’s Month. I didn’t even know that it exhisted. Here’s my recipe for homemade peanut butter. Enjoy!
