Super Bowl Snacks

Not many Sundays during the year get as much food hype as the first Sunday in February.  It’s probably the snackiest day of any that I can think of.  Is ‘snackiest‘ a word?  You know I’m a snack-lover.

These are some of our favorites…

buffalo chicken dip
beer bread
savory onion dip
corn and black bean salsa
cheddar-ranch dip
spicy buffalo mixed nuts
roasted chickpeas
buffalo chicken pizza
classic chili

There are so many awesome recipe round ups floating around.  If you did one, leave a link in the comments to share!

What are your Super Bowl plans?  I would love to know your favorite snack food for occasions such as these!  In all honesty, it’s more about the food than the football for me.  I’ll be enjoying some buffalo chicken dip with my wonderful husband.

I’m so sad that the superbowl is on here at midnight so I don’t have an excuse to cook for it! My boyfriend has taken the next day off work so he can stay up all night and watch it but I will be fast asleep when you are all having fun and eating all the deliciousness!

The “girls” are having a Souper Bowl get-together at noon and will play cards and board games until…. (some go on to other parties or home to watch with family and some stay on). Chili, soups, apps., dessert, quite a potluck we’ll be having. Tough here in southern New England, we’re a divided lot with this match-up!

It’s definitely more about the snacks than the football! Will be trying your roasted chickpea recipe soon. I love to snack too, but am always looking for ways to make it healthier. Cheers!

I love that you have 3 baffalo recipes! I’m not much of a foot ball fan, but I do enjoy food on this day. That’s right, snackiest day!
