January

I have to say that 2015 is off to a pretty sweet start.  January was filled with people we love, food we love, new books, Netflix binges, coffee dates, husband dates, and hand lettering.  It FLEW by, probably because we packed SO MUCH stuff into it.  Here’s a look at January in photos.

PS: I’m joining in with Kristen on her #imperfect365 photo project this year.  There are really no rules…just photos.  It’s helped me to document more of my day (via my iPhone) and share on Instagram.  You can follow along there, and I’ll be posting monthly photo reviews here as well.

Cheers to an outstanding February!

My friend Sara and I decided we wanted to take on learning calligraphy, hand lettering, etc. so we bought some new pens and some new paper and have been spending some time watching friends, just hanging out together and writing whatever our hearts desire.

I started this year with the goal of reading one new book per month.  I killed in in January by finishing two: It Was Me All Along (a must-read!); and Big Little Lies (review forthcoming).

I finished Big Little Lies over the weekend and promptly opened Yes Please.  Amy Poehler is hilarious.  And I’ve only ready one chapter!

Cassie, I pin LOTS of your recipes on my personal Pinterest page. That’s how I found your site. Love it! Anyway, I love this post of pictures where it tells a story. Such a cool idea. I am working on starting up my blog the last few months and I plan to try your idea. Thanks for the great recipes and this idea. OH and congrats on your new baby on the way! Blessings!
