I woke up this morning thinking I had scheduled this post with no text in the post, only photos and the recipe. Luckily, I didn’t do that. I sat down to write a post several times this weekend but time and time again, I just got distracted!
Ice Bucket Challenges, workouts, dinner and dominoes with friends, hanging out in the pool, baking cookies all took priority to writing a post. Because, sometimes, you just need to enjoy the weekend, right? However, I am pretty excited to share this recipe: DIY Onion Soup Mix!
I have come to love homemade seasoning mixes like ranch, pumpkin pie, cajun, taco/chili, etc. and I use onion soup mix a lot. But have you looked at the ingredients on those packages? Yikes! And they get expensive! I resolved very quickly to make a homemade version of this savory, salty mix.
So, here it is: amazingly simple, with onion flakes, beef bullion, a couple of seasonings. And, done.
