Conversation Heart Brownies

Conversation Heart Brownies

Happy Monday, friends!  I’m not quite covered in paint anymore, just still immersing myself in house projects and getting settled into our new house.  So my amazing friend Ali of Gimme Some Oven is here to treat you all to an amazing Valentine’s Day Dessert – Conversation Heart Brownies.

From the minute she told me about these – I was so excited to share them, as I know she is.  Ali is not only a blogging friend, but a wonderful friend in real life and I couldn’t be more excited for her to be here today.

If you have never spent any time at Gimme Some Oven, you should know you are in for a treat.  Ali’s photography is beyond stunning and her recipes are top-notch, my friends.  Some of my personal favorites: Garlic & Herb Beer Bread//Won Ton Cup Recipes (all amazing!//Queso Dip//Biscoff Pie

Thank you for being here, Ali!  Take it away…

Conversation Heart Brownies
Hi everyone!  It’s Ali here from Gimme Some Oven.  I’m excited to be here guest posting for Cassie today while she is finishing unpacking and getting settled in her amazing new house!!  Granted, I must admit that I’m seriously missing having her here as my next-door neighbor in downtown Kansas City.  We had so much fun together this past year getting to hang out in our lofts, go for walks downtown, cook up a storm together, have happy hours on the fly, and of course, enjoy conversations about everything from life, to blogging, to relationships, to faith, to our crazy pets, and everything in between!  But I know that amazing new adventures await Cassie and Paul in their new home sweet home, and I can’t wait to follow along as their new season unfolds.  And of course, since they’re only a few hours away, you’d better believe that road trips are already in the works.  😉

But back to the topic that so often comes up in conversation with Miss BakeYourDay herself — baking!  In honor of Valentine’s Day being just around the corner, I decided to continue my new infatuation love of using conversation hearts to make popcorn and cakes, and share with you these simple conversation heart brownies!

Conversation Heart Brownies

These really could not be simpler.  Just whip up a batch of your favorite brownie batter (homemade, or yes you can use a box mix!).  Then sprinkle the top with some cute little conversation hearts, bake up the chocolate-y deliciousness, and a love-ly pan of brownies are ready to go.  See, I told you they were simple!  If you reallyreally love conversation hearts, you can also mix some into the batter.  But I liked just the extra touch on top.  Definitely a fun way to make a favorite chocolate dessert extra lovey-dovey.

I hope that you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day this year celebrating the many people in your life whom you love!

I’m happy that I’ve been able to discover bakeyourday.
net: it has the best information required for me.
You’ve created a very good resource and it’s obvious you
possess a thorough comprehension of the issue.
Thanks to your wealth of information, I’ve figured out a whole lot more about the topic and will be coming back for more.

Solid write up. I’m studying something like this here at Valdosta State University. It’s
definitely helpful to learn new stuff from fellow
writers and gather expertise from new sources. I’d like to utilize some of this information on my own blog (if you don’t mind).
And of course, I’ll put up a backlink to your site at bakeyourday.net on my own blog. Kudos for sharing.
