BeaterBlade Giveaway

BeaterBlade

Today I am introducing you to (and giving away) on of my newest favorite, must-have kitchen tools: the BeaterBlade.  I first started eyeing these a while back so I was elated to be able to receive one for this review and giveaway.  First let me say that if you have a stand mixer, you really need one of these.  And second, if you know someone who uses a stand mixer, you should add this to your holiday shopping list for a fun, simple and useful stocking stuffer that the baker and cook on your list will love!

So why do you really need a BeaterBlade?

You can probably easily see, when using the paddle attachment that came with your mixer,  that it might not reach to the sides or to the bottom of the bowl.  So you probably find yourself stopping the mixer from time to time to scrape down the sides and to make sure everything at the bottom.

BeaterBlade eliminates all of that.  Let me assure you that I adore my mixers.  I have a KitchenAid (4.5-quart) Tilt-Head and a KitchenAid (7-quart) Bowl Lift and both are dream machines. Both are counter-top appliances and both see equal amounts of action in my kitchen, believe me.  But the BeaterBlade just adds to the ease of their use.  (I don’t have experience with these outside of the KitchenAid brand but they do make these for other brands of stand mixers.)
BeaterBlade and cookie dough

BeaterBlade beats, scrapes and helps to mix ingredients stand mixers, simply making your mixer a little more efficient.

BeaterBlade’s patented “wing-system” design provides a “blade” which continuously scrapes the sides and bottom of bowl while it mixes. The BeaterBlade is also a Spatula!  It minimizes the need to scrape the mixer bowl, and minimizes mixing time, in some cases.  And one other thing I love: they are made right here in the USA!

Catch up with BeaterBlade on Twitter, Facebook and check out the videos on their website.  Oh, and enter to win your own below!

Wow I can’t believe I didn’t know that about the beater blade. I thought the only advantage of it was that this one unlike the ones that come with the KA could be placed in the dishwasher.

I just finished making 7 large batches of gingerbread dough for a gingerbread making class I taught last night. The one thing that’s always bugged me is that the beater never hits the sides or bottom. Finally a beater that does what it’s suppose to. I’m shocked I didn’t know this. Thank you for sharing this information with me.

I’d love to win this but if not I will definitely be purchasing one. I only wish I’d known about these sooner.

I just recently purchased a KitchenAid Artisan 5 Quart stand mixer. I don’t know why it took me so long to do that, this machine has made my life so much easier, especially for making sugar cookie dough. That being said, it would definitely be for making cookie dough. My sister recently told me about the new BeaterBlade as she just bought one and absolutely loves it.

I was planning to purchase one, but I think I will wait to see if I get lucky!!

I got my KitchenAid Stand Mixer as a shower gift for my wedding this year. It is candy apple RED which is awesome, but by far the best thing to make with it is whipped cream. I used to use my hand mixer for that and about half way through my arm would feel like it was going to fall off! Since whipped cream or whipped egg whites are in just about every dessert, this mixer has prime real estate on my very small studio apartnemt kitchen counter 🙂

I enjoy making anything and everything in my Kitchenaid – best appliance in my kitchen and once you have one, you will never ever do without one! During the holiday our family’s traditional time together includes hours of making French cookies – it’s a very stiff egg, flour, sugar and whiskey dough that rolls into balls and cooks in a French Cookie iron. I think Cassie has blogged about them in the past! We have burned out many lessor mixers making our french cookie dough, but the Kitchenaid does the trick each and every year. I am ready to tackle this year’s tradition when I win this beaterblade 😉

I’ve been wanting a Beater Blade for years! I love to make cookies with my Kitchenaid and sometimes the dough is so loose I’ve got to stop it multiple times to scrape the sides. Having the Beater Blade would eliminate that extra chore! 😉

I love to make anything that has to do with with baking. I purchased my machine one year ago, but I must tell you I have wanted one since I was 19 and now I am 62. My dream has always been to own Kitchen Aid machine. And it finally came true at the age of 61. I have to say baking is my favorite but I have made breads with it also. I would love to have the beaterblade it will make things even faster then they are. Hope to be one of the lucky people.
    Thank you,
    Angela
