Banana-Berry Smoothie | Blendtec Blender Giveaway
Back in September, I fell in love with smoothies when I got my Blendtec. Particularly, I fell in love with yogurt in smoothies!
Smoothies make my favorite breakfast. See, I’m not really a breakfast person so quick, simple and healthy is where I turn. And my friends at Stonyfield Farms just released a new line of yogurt called Blends – you guessed it- combines fruit and yogurt for a perfectly creamy addition to your favorite morning smoothie. Oh, and it’s organic!

Banana-Berry Smoothie Recipe
Yield: 2 smoothies
Total Time: 5 minutes
Sweet and healthy - bananas, yogurt, berries, honey and flax seed.
Ingredients:
12 ounces Stonyfield Organic Blends Yogurt (I used one Strawberry-Banana and one Blackberry)
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 banana
1 Tbs. honey
1 Tbs. ground flax seed
3-4 ice cubes
1-2 Tbs. milk (just to help it blend)Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a powerful blender, such as Blendtec and blend until smooth. Serves 2.
Smoothies are my favorite because you can mix and match so many flavors. So, do that - use any flavor of yogurt you like, any fruit etc. Just enjoy it!

Every time I see a creamy, healthy, fruity smoothie post I ask myself “Why do I not make one of these every day?” They always seem like too much of a mess to me, but maybe I just don’t have the right blender 😉 Plus having the yogurt already a “blend” would save so much time. Changing my smoothie tune!
