{almost} Wordless Wednesday

Yes, these are Girl Scout Cookies (Thin Mints!)

I ordered three boxes. Glutton, I know.  I’m going to do some recipe creation with them and then give (most of) them away.

I was very thankful for these when I needed a little something sweet yesterday. I might have been eating my emotions but I’ve had a rough week so far. And I’m better now.  Because of these silly minty cookies, I swear they made it all better!  Of course I know that happiness comes from much more than cookies but the last few days have made me very aware of the small blessings in my life…like coffee.

#thanksq09 I love coffee.  I’m thankful for coffee.  It warms my heart and brings comfort to my soul.

What is one “little thing” that you are ever-thankful for?

I am thankful for cooler weather because it gives a great excuse to enjoy hot chocolate while cuddling with sweet littles.

Hi Cassie! I’m glad the thin mints helped take the edge off. AND….I hope the girl scouts start roaming my neighborhood soon! You know, when I have a not so great day…I love to get a ‘white hot chocolate’ from Starbucks. There is nothing more comforting to me than drinking a sweet, warm milk. Also…I sit back and close my eyes and feel thankful for having 2 great, smart, healthy and well adjusted young men (my sons)! And having 2 cats greeting me at the door, always happy to see me, at the end of my yucky day is pretty great too! I hope the rest of the week goes smoothly for you! : )

My husband brings those girl scout cookies from work because his boss buys tons from his daughter. Haha. I have my favorite one but forgot the name. They are pretty good. My comfort… hmm… definitely a cup of chai…and chocolate covered almonds (a lot).
